christmas,lovely christmas

Well ,another Christmas over for a year
had a lovely Christmas and birthday, as it falls near Christmas.
Spent it with Family and we had the loveliest time no dramas ,everyone  got on well and a great time was had by all.
Caught up with a friend up from Canberra and had a lovely day lunching and catching up.
it has rained here nonstop for longer than I can remember,but today the sun actually CAME out!!!!Stranger!!!!

Two faced people

Don't you just LOOOOVE two faced people?
You know the ones that are SWEET to you face and then go around backstabbing you?
i am so sick of so called family doing this year after year with NO consequences and you know WHAT I have had ENOUGH of it.
They have a saying that friends are the family you pick for yourselves and that is so true.
Hey gutless family members and THEY know who they are have the GUTS to say what you say behind my back to my face!!! but NO that won't happen because you know I am sooo abrupt and hard to talk to that you can't booo hooo care factor of ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back at last

Well haven't been blogging for awhile,so here goes.
My family went to the States to visit my other family there and a great time was had by all.
I looked after their house and dog,and yes she was as wide as she is long when they came back, but heck she likes to eat!What can i say?
Interestingly AS USUAL it teemed rain most of the time they were away,don't know what it is about them going to the States but every time they do it pours the whole time,not just light rain but cyclonic heavy rain!!!
The pool got full to the top,Dave was away so guess who along with 2 neighbours had to TRY to backwash the pool,it was hilarious as none of us were pool savvy! We did eventually do it.
Then we had a storm that blew over the huge pot and plant, smashed it and it was hanging over the pool, to top it off the pool pump died!!!
I must admit I was relieved when they came home and the pool WASN"T green!
all well now Anth is home and the pump is renewed and the pool very much in use.

Great News!!!!

Found out that the growth they removed along with my adrenal gland wasn't cancer,so relieved!!!
Life has lots of twists and turns in it but I am glad to be alive ,to see my Grandchildren grow up.
I love where i live and my life is full of the peace that has eluded me for the majority of my life, and I am enjoying it! I have a beautiful family and friends who love me what more does one want.

Short few hours

On Wednesday mel picked me up and we took the cat to the cattery, then went to a class she took at the scrapshop ,I go as her critique so no cost. i enjoyed the time and it took my mind off what was ahead!

After the class we traveled down to the Tweed Hospital for me to be admitted, both of us psyched up.
Well they admitted me ,did all the necessary stuff , kept me in the ward trying to decide which one was best then 3 hrs later, decided to send me home till Monday!!!!
Mel thought I was joking but not so. Home we came and the next morning went out to get the cat to save 60dollars, they were lovely about it and said, see you Monday. The cat was a little confused but very happy to be back home!!!!

No i didn't fall off the earth!!!!!

Computers are good except, when the blogger, ie google keeps changing their setups and i can't get in to comment on anyone's blogs or to post on mine!!!!!
It is soooo annoying, so i got on tonite and changed all and now I can do it yay!!!!
It has been very steamy and hot here, not nice at all!
It's raining tonite and has cooled down, but i can't sleep and it's after midnight which wouldn't matter normally but i have to be at the dentists at 8.15 in the morning.
Well now i am back on the blog you will be hearing from me soon.

Back on the road again.

The last month has been an interesting one, full of different obstacles to overcome financially and healthwise but am getting there.

My car was off the road and thanks to Gary and Anthony it is back on the road, all I have to do is pay the bill!!
I have a car that runs smoothly and it now has a 2 year warranty, so I am a relieved lady, cars are a necessity but cost at times.

Weather here is nice warm at times but not unbearable, my unit is nice and cool.

Well technology is good MOSTLY till one forgets the password ! I didn't just the one I had been using for yonks suddenly didn't work!!! Well I got it going so now have to catch up.
I had a lovely surprise the other morning to hear a little voice on the phone saying hello Nanna, I replied hello, is that you Olivia, whilst thinking how did she get the phone number!!!! the voice replied NO Nanna this is Ava, I was so suprised and spent the next half hour at least talking to my grandchildren in America.
Ava had rung Mel's saying hello Auntie Mel, I want to talk to my Nana!
It really was such a lovely surprise and made a week that hadn't been full of much good things nice. Thanks Karen and Nathan and happy New year to all
